The Challenges

*Development of Category 6a cabling
compliant solutions, capable of supporting 10GBase-T have faced new challenges when compared to Category 6 solutions
-Operating bandwidth increasing from 250 to 500Mhz
-Transmitting up to 2.5Gbps on each pair, simultaneously
-How to counter alien cross talk concerns
-Offer products which remain easy to use, install and test, for example keep cable diameter close to current Category 6a cabling
-Must be backward compatible
*These challenges have had to be overcome through the design of completely new product sets, NOT through 'tweaks' to Category 6 products
