Fibre Optic Cables are made up of tiny strands of pure glass that transmit light signals over long distances. As light travels in a straight line through the core of the cable it bounces off the cladding this way the light can travel great distances. Ethernet Cable is more economical as it is widely used Fibre Optic Cables is more commonly found in business and in industrial setups it is now used to deliver fast broadband speeds to home. Fibre Optic Cables are made up of 3 Parts
Buffer coating – A plastic sheath that protects the fibre from damage and moisture
Cladding – optical material surrounding the core, reflecting the light back onto the core
Core- tiny strands of glass where the light travels.
There are two types of Optical Fibre Cable Single-mode fibres and Multi-mode fibres
